First off I have to apologize to my loyal readers who think I may have died or worse, got a real job. I have been an absentee blogger for over a year. I tried to replace my witty banter with posts from others, even going as far as asking other people to take over. The truth is I was burnt out from writing, and I was running out of new material.
When I first started writing this column, it was to vent, inform and entertain. I tried to religiously write once a week so that my steadily growing followers would have something to look forward to. Well it became like work, and since I was at work, writing about work it got to be too much.
As like the rest of the world I was watching The Walking Dead season finale, all ready to see who was going to die at the hands of Negan and BAM! they left us with a damn cliff hanger, wondering, angry and wanting more. So I came up with the idea that I would break my blog into seasons. Since I started late in 2013 and wrote for a good 2 full years, I figured when I do start back up, I would publish an article once a week for a “season”. And for all my other Walking Dead fans, I will release a new article every Sunday until the season premiere in the Fall.
In preparation for this I have been accumulating new material at the hands of my awesome clientele. I think I have about 15 topics, and can easily scrape up 5-10 more to fill in by the fall. So sit back and relax and wait for the next season to start. In preparation you can read all my old articles, much the way AMC does a Walking Dead marathon leading up to the season premiere. And just so I wouldn’t procrastinate anymore, I set a date of May 15th for my first article to be published.
If you want to be notified by email when the first, or any of my new articles are published, make sure you subscribe in the email box to the right ——> or in the annoying pop up that I have so graciously provided for you. Thanks again for being patient and I look forward to entertaining you ladies and gentlemen soon enough.Brought to you by Your Poker Dealer
